COMPANY INFO Our client company has been a leading manufacturer of gun barrels for more than fifty years. Founded approx 60yrs ago, the company began specializing in large volume gun barrel production in the early 60s. Today the Company produces a variety of barrels ranging from .17 caliber to .50 caliber and is poised to provide gun barrels in various stages of completion from blanks to finished barrels to most of the worlds major gun manufacturers supporting military, law enforcement and sport enthusiast applications. Over the past several years our client has invested in the latest machine technology for gun barrel manufacture and have expanded our facilities to provide better service to our customers. Utilizing a highly skilled non-union labor force, the Company has a reputation of delivering the highest quality products on time. With a renewed energy and a fresh face, the Company is well positioned to continue to grow with our existing loyal customers and use this platform for new product development.Our clients facilities are located in 3 separate buildings with a total of nearly 20,000 sq. feet dedicated to manufacturing, office space, quality, engineering and production. Our client utilizes state of the art multi-axis CNC turning equipment to ensure that each barrel is produced to their customers specification from 1st article to the final part. Their drilling and rifling departments specialize in time-tried methods that allow them to manufacture to the tightest tolerances in the industry. Their background allows them to maintain their high standards of quality, whether they are working with chrome-moly, stainless steel, or military spec chrome-moly vanadium. Barrels are offered in the white, or a variety of external coatings and they also offer chrome lined barrels. This level of precision produces barrels that are more accurate and more consistent from day 1 and throughout the lifespan of the barrel. Our clients inspection facilities utilize highly calibrated gauges and tools to ensure that they meet or exceed their customers specifications and to help them continually improve their process and practices. From Rockwell hardness testing the base metal, to air gauging and 100 Magnaflux inspection of the finished product, every barrel is subjected to a rigorous verification process to ensure their tradition of quality continues in everything they produce.
